Colorpop
Marina Williams and I cofounded Colorpop—one of the most ambitious destination editorial photography retreats. Over 160 photographers from around the world have attended, often describing the event as "life-changing."
About The Project
Colorpop involves months of planning and a high level of leadership and coordination to execute. Over the four years Marina and I have:
- Managed a team of 7 assistants, 8 vendors, and 22 models
- Secured Canon & Adobe as sponsors
- Managed a 5-figure budget
- Conceptualized 40 unique shoots including mood boards, wardrobe, styling, sets, and props
- Executed 80 shoots across 10 locations
- Mentored attendees with portfolio reviews, Q&A sessions, and post-event one-on-one calls
The most rewarding part of Colorpop is when attendees report amazing creative growth, new work opportunities, new friendships, and renewed creative energy as a result of having attended.
